Tattoo Removal Sessions #3 and #4

Can you believe I am already down 4 sessions?! It’s hard to believe, and it’s really really exciting. I was just telling a friend that I really don’t even mind my tattoo now that it’s lighter- the dark blown out lines really bothered me and now that it’s not so dark, I’m fine with it! At this point though it has gotten a little blurry, so it is kind of in this funny in-between stage. After my 4th session I also got my first micro-needling treatment, which is pictured above and mentioned below! I’m so grateful the place I’m going (Delete Tattoo Removal) offers this.

Today I thought I would answer a couple FAQs-

1) Why do I wait so long in between sessions?

So Delete, where I go for my laser treatments has a special method where they do microneedling in the treated area to help with the healing process and removal. This is special and unique to Delete. You can also go at your own pace and wait as long as you want- in face the longer in between sessions, the better, as your body will continue to break down the ink. We do a minimum of 8 weeks in between sessions (longer if I microneedle in between), but my average has been about 10-12 weeks.

2) Does it hurt?

No! There are points where I can feel a little pain but overall no because Delete numbs it with lidocaine. The lidocaine injections actually take way longer than the actual lasering. It really works though and it is pretty amazing that the removal is practically painless.

3. Do you think it will clear all the way?

They do think we will be able to remove it all the way, it will just take time and patience. It’s funny, now that it’s lighter I don’t mind it at all! It’s kind of blurry now which is weird but I’m excited to see if get lighter and lighter.

Any questions? Leave them below. I’m happy to help! 🤍
