Read: The Blue Bistro

I read a lot of Elin Hilderbrand. Sometimes when I begin and quickly end a book I’m not into I reach for one of hers because I know I’ll love it. It’s like comfort reading for me. All of her books are really good, some are exceptional, and they’re always enjoyable. The Blue Bistro was no different. Have you read it?

The Blue Bistro by Elin Hilderbrand an easy, light book about a woman named Adrienne who starts over on…you guessed it, Nantucket. She ends up working at a high end restaurant called the Blue Bistro, which is set to close its doors at the end of the season. Why the doors are closing, who she falls in love with, alllll of it, plus so much more, it’s all in there. It’s so wonderfully written like all Elon’s book and this book in particular really takes a story that isn’t shocking or crazy and makes it interesting. The descriptions of the food and dining and being a server are so spot on, and the whole package is just a nice, digestible book. It made me hungry actually, and I wish I could go to the Blue Bistro and enjoy a meal! I wouldn’t rave about this book or go out of my way to say READ THIS, all caps, but if you’re looking for a good, engaging book with an enjoyable story, this is for you. It’s a good book to bring along on a trip or to the beach. I liked it and I’m happy I read it! I think you’ll like it too.
