Read: The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue

You have to read this The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue! Gosh, I loved it SO MUCH. I didn’t know anything about it when I picked it up, and it completely sucked me in, in the BEST way. You know that feeling when you fall into a great book and you find yourself counting down until you have another bit of time to dive back in? That happened with this book. It’s entrancing, enthralling, entertaining...I loved it.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is about a woman named Addie, in 1700s France, who doesn’t want to be married, stuck in the town she grew up in, and live the boring, predictable life she is destined to live. So she makes a deal...and that’s all I’m going to tell you.

The book takes place over time, jumping back and forth between 1700s France and present day NYC,
and many places in between. I loved the real history woven throughout and my only wish with this book is that there was more of that, in more detail! But overall fantastic read. Super different than anything I’ve read recently and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
