Camp Melana
As I get ready to head to Alana’s wedding this weekend (where I will be the officiant!), I wanted to quickly share all about the bachelorette party, aka Camp Melana (Melissa + Alana). It was THE best weekend ever and I wanted to be sure to document while it was all fresh in my mind.
We spent the long weekend in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and quite a few of us were Steamboat first-timers. Have you ever been? I fell in love with this sweet little town and I want to go back asap! We rented a house for the big group of us which was perfect, and we really spend four days soaking up quality friend time in a gorgeous location. Here’s the link to rent the home, which was really clean + great for a large group: https://abnb.me/7GTAQOdILjb
The first night we had a chef come to the house and she prepared us the most delicious dinner, with the help of her assistant. We laid low that evening, in preparation for a hike the next day. The hike was awesome- here’s the link- and it was a great way to see Steamboat’s beauty. When we got back from the hike we got ready to head downtown for the evening. We went to what became our FAVORITE spot in town- Taco Cabo. We spent a lot of time here over the weekend both eating and drinking. And you know I’m not a big drinker but their Palomas (with fresh grapefruit juice + a salt/tajin rim) were INSANE. So good. Plus, you absolutely cannot beat enjoying your food and drinks along the river. The photos above showcase just how lovely it was. That evening we went to Salt & Lime which was a good (and wild!) time, and then downtown for awhile Fun, fun night.
The rest of the weekend was spent paddleboarding, although Autumn and I skipped that and instead did the Farmer’s Market and shopped downtown and hanging out together. The last night we spent our time at the house, Leah’s wife Augusta cooked for us, and we had a chill, enjoyable evening.
Many of these girls have been my best friends since college (over 20 years!) and the rest are Alana’s dear friends and family. So it was a really special weekend celebrating our Alana and her upcoming wedding! I headed home to my family with a full heart and so excited for the wedding to come.

Also not pictured but I wore my Spiritual Gangster Wildflower tie-dye set (the bottoms) all weekend at the house lounging. SO cute and comfy! Here are the other sets I love: Honeydew Intimates.
Now, onto WAY too many photos! Honestly, this should be multiple posts but I decided to keep it all in one place and tell the whole story. Scroll at your own risk. ;)
