Read: The Paradise Series

If you’re looking for a fun series to really entertain you, I recommend the Paradise series from Elin Hilderbrand. First of all, I’ve never read a bad Elin Hilderbrand book and I’ve pretty much read them all. I’ll be sharing about 28 Summers next week, which is one of my faves and a great place to begin. But THIS trio, oh man- so good, and also a great place to start down the Elin rabbit hole. Elin’s books are what I consider elevated beach reads. So fun, so immersive, but also really really, really smart. Her writing isn’t necessarily fluffy like a true beach read, but it goes down as if it is- it’s so smooth and I always enjoy her character development and the detail to setting. It’s truly transportive. I love giving blind recs- “I love it, just read it,” but to give you a tiny idea of what this series is about, know that it’s set on the island of St. John, and follows a woman Irene and her family. On a personal note I LOVE St. John and Hank and I had what we consider one of the best meals of our life there, so it was so fun to revisit via the book. But anyway Irene’s family experiences a shocking tragedy which brings them to St. John in first place, and that’s all you need to know. Just read it. I hope you enjoy this story, told over 3 well-written books, as much as I did. Happy reading!
