Girls' Weekend in Flagstaff

A couple weeks ago I spent a long weekend in Flagstaff with my best friends from college. I’ve written about this group of girls extensively over the years- these are my people, my sisters, the ones who know me the best (and love me all the same, haha). That’s what happens when you grow up together from teenagers and move through marriages, divorces, babies, cross-country moves, allll the big life things. It’s amazing to know after all of this time, almost 20 years, we are all still together. I love them.

We spent the weekend soaking up rare time together, eating SO much good food, and taking in all of the insane Fall colors. They weren’t even peak yet, but still so beautiful. Flagstaff in the Fall- you’ve gotta get there. We did the Inner Basin hike, and you can read more about that here and also popped into Flag’s Oktoberfest. Lots of fun!

I got a lot of questions about where we stayed in Flagstaff- it was an Airbnb, and I’d absolutely recommend it. Super clean, fantastic location, the best service/host, etc. We all travel a lot and each of us agreed it was one of the best Airbnb experiences ever. Be sure to sign up via this link for $40 off your booking and then check out the listing here.

A couple standout meals and recommendations-

Pizzicletta, always. This is one of my fave restaurants. Great ambience, the most amazing food, and just a really fun experience. I suggest getting the warm olives and whatever pizza is on special!

Shift. This was all of our first time there and it was INCREDIBLE. We did the Chef’s Tasting Menu and I absolutely recommend it. Every course was excellent. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had this year.

I’m still kind of basking in the afterglow of this time with these friends. We have a bunch of events coming up thanks to Alana’s wedding and I’m really excited. The countdown is on to her Idaho bachelorette party and the Northern CA wedding! Yay!
