What I'm Bringing to Camp Melana

When your friend is a total outdoors woman and isn’t down with the typical bachelorette thing, you go outside of the box and create the ultimate adventure weekend! Camp Melana is kicking off tomorrow in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and I am so excited! Alana and her sister have planned an epic four days full of hiking, paddleboarding, and enjoying the great outdoors. This trip has been rescheduled a couple of times due to Covid, and the destination has changed a few times too! I’m glad we landed in Steamboat- being in nature with friends, soaking up sunshine and coming back home feeling recharged and rested will be wonderful. I’m so excited!

Here are some things I am bringing with me on the trip, and you can follow along at either of my Instagram accounts too.

These are the Away suitcases my entire family has traveled with for years. You can click that link for $20 off. If you don’t have suitcases you love, I highly recommend you check them out. They also have amazing customer service. When one of our suitcases had a weird zipper issue they sent us a brand new one. We are fans for life!

Packing cubes are lifesavers. I’ve used cheap ones from Amazon but had to replace them twice, so I thought I would invest and I’ve had these particular Calpak packing cubes for two years and they’re going strong. I love them for organization + creating more space- the kids use and love them too.

I also love pouches and little bags for all the things. My two go-tos are Bag-All bags for everything under the sun, and Baggu bags for everything else! Grab a couple and you’ll always have a place for everything, which makes travel a lot easier. And I also should note the Baggu backpacks are awesome because they fold up super flat and tiny!

I picked up this Cotopaxi daypack from Backcountry for hiking while in Colorado. I LOVE the colors- it’s so bright and cheery!

My hiking uniform: these Lulu shorts, a comfy tee (these are my favorite everyday t-shirts), a flannel tied around my waist, fun socks, and my go-to hiking boots OR the best Tevas ever! I love Tevas because you can wear them in the water too!

Some fun lounge wear I’m bringing: this Levi’s matching set and this tie-dye matching set from Spiritual Gangster.

Here are some of the MUST HAVE sleep things I bring- this diffuser and oils, this sound machine from Amazon, and always, always my Tranquil roller.

As I share on social, I’ll link there too. See you soon, Colorado!
