Summer Travel Must-Haves
Are you traveling this summer? We just got back from our NJ trip and it was SO nice to get out there, after sticking around here for so long. Everything felt so excited and fresh, and it was also a little funny because I felt like I forgot how to travel! But we did it, and it was so fun. I can’t wait to head out again sometime soon.
Here are some of my summer travel must-haves- let me know if you have any questions! Happy traveling!
ALL the sun protection by way of big hats. Sun hats, visors, even a bucket hat- I want it all! Hat Attack is a really great well-priced brand to check out. I have a few from them and they’re great and easy to travel with. For our recent NJ trip I packed my hats IN my suitcase- stuffed them full of small soft things like t-shirts, and then packed around them. It worked well! Also be sure to check out Lack of Color hats. They’re an Australian brand with the CUTEST hats!
Yeti 36 oz bottle. This is something I always have with me, traveling or not. And be sure to get the chug cap! Rather than buy a ton of plastic bottles while traveling we will all bring our bottles and refill them. Many airports now have refill stations and you can buy large bottles to save on plastic once you get to your destination if needed.

We use them exclusively now, we’ve traveled with them out of the country, all over the country, by plane, train, car…and they are just amazing. They hold up so well- and have fantastic customer service. A zipper was funky on one of ours and they sent a replacement suitcase right away! Thieves hand sanitizer. This is a must-have for everyday, but especially while traveling. Until you try it you might not understand what’s so great about it, but it really is the best hand sanitizer you’ll ever use! It kills 99.9% of germs like the traditional sanitizer you may be using, but it doesn’t dry out hands, and is SO refreshing with peppermint oil included. My whole family loves it. You can get them in 3-packs, singles, or the big size and refill the small ones (that’s what we do!). Quick note- you’ll get the Basic Starter Kit (or choose another if you’d like- the Haven diffuser travels SO well)- then add on the sanitizer and whatever else you’d like!
Bag-all pouches and bags. I love the wet bags, and I also have an amazing one for my curling iron. When traveling I love to have a place for everything and these are awesome. Stoney Clover bags and pouches are also my faaaaaves. A little pricier, but so cute and I have had a couple of these for years and they look as good as new.

Calpack travel cubes. I’ve used cheap ones from Amazon, ones from Target…and none compare to these! They’ve held up for years and are the best quality. Totally worth it each member of my family has a set.
This is my GO-TO fanny pack/belt bag, whatever you want to call it. I also love this huge selection of fanny packs- there’s designer to easy travel ones. Sort by price to find one that works for you!
Portable chargers. I always bring a couple of these and they always prove to be lifesavers. I linked the ones that are tried and true for us!
KidScents kid roller set. There’s something for everything and everyone in here. Need help with stomach issues, sniffles, overwhelm, emotions, sleep, you name it…it’s ALL here.
