After having lash extensions on for almost 5 years I was scared to take them off. I wasn’t sure what would be left! I’d never even taken a break so I wasn’t sure how they would look- would they be broken? Short? Ruined? I ended up removing them about 2 months ago and luckily there wasn’t too much damage, but they were quite short and thin. It was definitely an adjustment as they began to grow back in, but this serum has been amazing. I highly recommend trying this if you’re looking to lengthen and thicken your eyelashes (or eyebrows!), post lash extensions or not!

Castor oil is great for supporting hair growth and the three oils I recommend here also do a great job in that area. I’m excited for you to make this!

Here’s what you need:

empty mascara tubes and wands

castor oil

Lavender and Cedarwood oils. Rosemary is a great addition too if you have it on hand.

To make the serum:

Add 3 drops each of Lavender and Cedarwood (3 drops Rosemary also if you’re adding it!). Start with 3ish drops for your first tube and see how you do- you can always add a few more drops later. Then fill almost all the way to the top with castor oil. Leave some room because when you put wand in it will push the serum up.

Apply at night, as your last step. I brush it though my lashes and make sure its along my upper lash line, where an eyeliner would go. I use it on my brows too.

It took about 5-6 weeks to see some good progress but now 8 weeks in I’ve seen big growth in my lash length and fullness. I’m excited to see your results too! If you make it, tag me- and be sure to share your progress too.
