Setting a Special, Yet Budget-Friendly Table

We celebrated Hank’s birthday on June 1st with a dinner party at our home. I brought in one of our favorite restaurants, El Gato Azul, and they created an awesome menu and drinks for the occasion. One thing I knew I wanted to do was set a really special table for Hank. I feel like I always get the fun, festive things on my special occasions so I wanted to make this evening really amazing for him.

I kept it really simple- lots of candles in glass hurricanes, greenery, and a simple table runner. A couples things I kept in mind- layers and height! I focused on created different textures and then adding in varying height with the hurricanes and candlesticks. I loved how it turned out and I love that everything can be reused for holidays and other special occasions!

Here are links to everything you see -
